Comedy Night

Don’t mess our first ever live comedy night at the Honky Tonk Angel. This night will share to be filled with laughter and tearjerking comedy, That will make you hold your belly in joy. Our master of ceremonies for the evening will be none other than Liam Kelly. Liam Kelly is a fast talking ramp through the crowd taking what comes his way and spinning it into comedy. Over a 20 year career Liam has done it. All sketch improv Street Theatre and corporate work and uses those experiences to create a memorable night of laughter on the spot. Liam has worked with clubs across the country and at the legendary second city. Corporate clients include. Microsoft Bell and Shaw cable.

Our headliner for the night is none other than Jean Paul cohost of the breakfast television. Jean Paul is the Trinidadian born Brooklyn raised and currently Toronto base comedian. Jean Paul has always had an initiative sense of humor. Maybe it’s because of his curious nature perhaps it’s because it was highlighted hearted view of life. Whatever the reason, Jean knew at an early age that comedy career was right for him. Since then, Jean has travelled extensively of cross Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean, South Africa and the UK performing at the legendary venues, such as the Apollo in New York City, the comedy store in London and Place des Arts In Montreal, no stranger to the festival circuit, Gina’s performed at just for last Halifax and Winnipeg comedy festivals, and among other credits has written for and and toured with Russell What a delight it will be able to have him there.

If that’s not enough our feature of the evening will be Faraz Niafattah. Faraz Is the Toronto base stand-up comedian who’s dead pan delivery and colourful choice of words leave the audience wanting more. He has often described as a Crowd favourite for his relatable, humor. Faraz can be seen regular at many comedy clubs across the country and he’s performed. I just for last Toronto, don’t tell comedy, as well as the haymaker comedy festival. In 2024 he was featured at the veil comedy festival in Denver, Colorado, and the limestone comedy festival in Indiana, as well as on CBC laugh out loud network. In 2025 he performed that sketch fast in San Francisco and the hubcap festival in Moncton NB.
