How do I scan tickets in?
Attendees can either print their tickets or display the QR code on their mobile device.
To start scanning, go to your event's Settings and select Scan from the navigation panel. You’ll be prompted to grant camera permissions—once granted, choose the preferred camera (if your device has more than one).
Hold the attendee’s QR code within the on-screen scanner frame. If the scan is successful, the screen will flash green.
Tip: Make sure you're set to either Check In or Check Out mode, depending on what you're doing at the time. You can also use your phones default native camera to scan QR codes as well. However you'll need to be logged in to process the ticket.
How do I invite someone to help scan tickets for my event?
To allow someone else to scan tickets at your event, you’ll need to invite them as a collaborator.
Here’s how:
Ask the individual to create a Tixert account if they haven’t already.
Once they’ve signed up, have them go to My Organization in their account settings to copy their Organization ID.
In your own account, navigate to your event and select Manage and open the Collaborators section.
Click Invite Collaborator and paste in their Organization ID.
After they accept the invite, they’ll be able to access the Scan tool for your event using their own device.
This gives your team or volunteers access to ticket scanning — without needing to share login credentials.
Can I edit my event after it's published?
Yes, you can edit your event details, ticket types, or prices at any time before the event starts. Just go to your event page and click 'Manage'. Any edits to tickets after users have purchased them will not be reflected in thier purchases, keep this in mind when editing an already live event.
