Do I need an account to purchase a ticket?
Nope! You can purchase as a guest, however you won't earn any Tixert Points or Organizer Points (our two rewards points program).
How do I make an account
On mobile press the menu in the top right and then click register, when on desktop you can click register in the top right directly. From there, provide an email and a password or use any of the other options listed to create your account.
Ticket buyer
How do I buy tickets?
Select an event, choose the tickets you want, and proceed to checkout. We use Stripe for secure payment details. Enter your information and it will be processed by Stripe. You will then receive your tickets via email and in your account.
How do I access or download purhcased tickets?
Use the menu in the top right to find the 'orders' page. From there, click on the order you placed, it will take you to the order details for your event and list each ticket you recieved. You can then click on any individual ticket and click the 'print' button. Alternatively, you can print the entire order, with all of your tickets by clicking 'print' on the order page itself.
Can I share a ticket?
Yes, you can share a ticket to someone else via the 'Send' button when you're viewing the specific ticket in your order. Make sure to transfer them well in advance of the event. Once a user scans in with that ticket, anyone else you shared it to cannot use the ticket.
How can I request a refund?
Refunds are subject to the event organizer's policy. Please refer to the event page for details. If refunds are allowed, you will see a 'Request a Refund' button below your ticket. Note that processing fees and Tixert fees are non-refundable.
How do I use a discount?
Once you've added a couple items to your cart, you can open up the cart panel and click 'Have a discount code' and enter your discount here.
What are tixert points and how do I use them?
Tixert Points (TP) and Organizer Points (OP) are our rewards to you! Whenever you purchase a ticket, you will earn a percentage of that sale back in Tixert Points. Organizers of events can also setup their own 'Organizer Points', they work like TP but are unique to that specific organizer. To view more details on Tixert Points, go here.
Event organizers
How do I create an event?
Log in to your account, click your profile icon in the top right, and select 'Create an event.' Before publishing, we strongly recommend completing your organization's Stripe information in the settings. This is essential for receiving payouts; otherwise, your earnings will be held until the form is completed.
How do I manage my event?
Log in to your account, click your profile icon in the top right, and select 'My Events.' Find your event within the Active or Drafts category and select the Manage button.
How do I track my sales and analytics?
To access your event sales and analytics, you'll need to find your events dashboard. This is found within your events list, click the Manage button for your event, and then select Dashboard. This dashboard updates in real-time as attendees view your event, purchase tickets, or process refunds.
I allowed refunds, but I don't know how to approve them.
To check refund requests, go to your events list, click the Manage button for your event, and select Dashboard. In the Refunds section, you'll see any refund requests. If no requests are listed, no refunds have been submitted. To process a request, click on it and select Approve or Deny.
When will I get paid out after my event finishes?
After your event ends, Tixert staff will process your settlement and transfer the funds to your Stripe Connect account. The deposit timing depends on the method you selected during the Stripe onboarding process.
Can I edit my event after it's published?
Yes, you can edit your event details, ticket types, or prices at any time before the event starts. Just go to your event page and click 'Manage'. Any edits to tickets after users have purchased them will not be reflected in thier purchases, keep this in mind when editing an already live event.
